Hello!

How's everyone back home? Hope you guys are doing well. Can't believe that some of you have already finished school! Wow... the year is coming to an end and it'll soon be Christmas! :)

Just last week, we had a Friday off, so a few seniors and us decided to go on a road trip to Lake District! YAY! In the end, there was a total of eight of us. Lucky us, even though the weather just turned frigid, the sun was out for almost the whole of Friday and we managed to catch a few scenic moments in Lake District. It was about a two-hour drive down to Cumbria, where Lake District is, at the north tip of England. It was the first time the driver was driving a manual car! Thankfully, he managed well with it.

Some shots taken along the way. There were many sheep and cows around!

We only made a rough plan of where we wanted to visit and the rest was spontaneous! It was quite ambitious I must say; we wanted to travel around the whole of Lake District! Below are the four of us Year Ones who went on this trip.

Here are very pretty pictures of the beach!

This is one of the many lakes we saw along the way. We're on the top of the world!

We spent the night in a youth hostel, where the facilities were surprisingly good. It was a satisfying good night's rest! Unfortunately, the weather on Saturday was terrible. It was raining everywhere, even back in Glasgow where the wind was horrendously strong, so there really wasn't much we could do. Hence, we ended up driving to Newcastle, which wasn't too far from Lake District! To tell the truth, we didn't even see much of the city. Basically, I think we went there for Chinatown and a taste of the food back home! Haha. Oh wells, at least that was one good thing about Saturday.

I guess it's really the company you have with you that breaks or makes the experience. Luckily for me, the people around me were awesome. Thanks for the good time peeps! :) Another road trip sometime? When the hole in my pocket's been mended, of course :D

A girl in far faraway land, living her life, which is probably just as boring as you think yours is. Occasionally, interesting and inspiring things find their way onto her path and it's these little nuggets of gold that spice up her life. It is also one of them that got her landed in this unfamiliar place. So what's to come?
Well, why not join her on the ride and find out for yourself?
